The plants will be able to grow their roots directly to the water tank which will increase their life span and yield, but will also require more diligent cleaning from the user once changing the plant. To start using the pro cups, just exchange the cups included in your Smart Garden starter kit with the pro cups.

Not ideal for users who want to avoid the hassle - perforated cups require more cleaning than regular cups when removing/exchanging plants as the roots are able to access the water tank directly.
